Throughout November, the university invites you to a series of events dedicated to raising awareness, reflection, and mobilisation around Transgender Day of Remembrance (November 20) and the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women and Gender-Based and Sexual Violence (November 25).
Inappropriate gestures, sexist, degrading, and humiliating remarks, transphobia… These situations have no place on our campuses—or anywhere else. The University of Caen Normandy firmly asserts and reaffirms its opposition to all forms of violence and discrimination. These events, organised throughout November, provide opportunities to reflect on our behaviours to promote healthy relationships across all our campuses and to raise awareness of the realities of gender-based and sexual violence.
