The Université of Caen Normandie thus becomes one of the first French universities to be awarded the label, among 8 others. This is recognition of the joint strategy undertaken with Le Dôme.
The “Science with and for Society” label is awarded to higher education and research establishments for their approach to disseminating scientific culture.
This approach involves a strategic commitment led by the governance team, a strong partnership with local players such as CSTI centres and museums, a range of initiatives targeting school audiences in particular, relations with the media, participatory research and a self-assessment process.
