Become a Student Ambassador for the Sustainable Development Goals

  • Post last modified:17/07/2025

Since the 2021 start of the academic year, the university offers its students to become ambassadors for Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) thanks to the EAODD initiative (Étudiant Ambassadeur des Objectifs de Développement Durable). After a first very positive report, the initiative has been renewed for the year 2024/2025.

Raise Awareness among Young People, Rest on Scientific Expertise

This initiative will be conducted alongside the volunteers’ curriculum as part of a free course unit -“Étudiant Ambassadeur des Objectifs de Développement Durable” – supervised by teachers. Volunteers will work in small multidisciplinary groups, either on a subject chosen among existing themes or on a suggested theme that will be approved by a professor. In order for students to rely on solid scientific sources, they will receive educational resources.

The goal is to offer presentations, workshops and/or poster-making, etc., to raise awareness among high school, middle school or elementary school students about the challenges of the SDGs. The 17 United Nations SGDs make up a global roadmap for a sustainable and liveable world for future generations.

A level 3 Open Badge Développement Durable “Je transmets” (‘I transfer’) and a certificate will be awarded in addition to the diplomas.

Open to All University’s Students

Whether you are familiar with the topic or not, whether you know the SDGs inside out or not, all students are welcome! Educational resources will be available and professors will be here to supervise the volunteers and support them in this initiative.

This experience will allow students to develop additional skills that complement their degree, expand their knowledge and enhance their resume.
