Applying for the first year of Licence – DAP procedure (Preliminary Admission Request)
International degree-seeking students
The DAP procedure applies if you are not a citizen of the European Union*, of the European Economic Area*, of Switzerland, Monaco or Andorra and are enrolling for the first time in the first year of Licence.
You will have to:
- Justify of a diploma or title granting access to higher education in the country where it was delivered
- Make a Preliminary Admission Request
- Justify of a French language proficiency suitable for the training you have chosen. The proficiency must be assessed by an official test or diploma.
Application deadlines: November 1, 2020 - January 17, 2021
You are currently in France: GREEN FORM
Available:
- at the nearest University
- by postal mail request in French sent to the University of your choice before December 31st, 2020. You must enclose a C4 format pre-stamped (50 gr and +) envelop bearing your name and home address.

You are currently in a foreign country: WHITE FORM
If the Etudes en France procedure applies for your country, you must register directly on the "
Études en France" portal.
If the Etudes en France procedure doesn’t apply to your country, you must dowload
the White Form on-line or request it at the nearest French Embassy or Consulate.
DAP · Preliminary Admission Request dealines
- November 1, 2020 - Januart 17th, 2021: application
- February 4, 2021: French proficiency test (TCF-DAP) at UNICAEN
- January 17 - April 30, 2021: nomination of selected candidates by the Academic Selection Committees.
*EU, EEA countries: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Republic of Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain and Sweden.
